Most of our adult t-shirts, hoodies, and sweatshirts run true to size with a relaxed coastal fit, so we recommend ordering your usual size in modern unisex apparel. If you’re between sizes or prefer extra room for layering, sizing up by one is a safe choice.

Yes — if you want an oversized look, want extra room for layering, or prefer not to feel anything pulling across the shoulders, ordering one size up is a great call. Our most popular tees and hoodies already have a relaxed coastal cut, so a single size up is usually plenty without going baggy.
We don’t recommend sizing down on most styles. Our blanks are cut with a modern unisex shape, and dropping a size can make the body too short or tight across the chest. If a fitted silhouette matters to you, check the product page for a slim or fitted style and order your normal size.
Unisex sizing is based on a men’s cut. Many women find their usual women’s size in a unisex tee feels boxy or boyfriend-style; for a more tailored look, ordering one size down works well, especially on tees and crewnecks. If you want true coverage and a relaxed silhouette, stay at your usual size.
We design hoodies and sweatshirts to be worn casually over a tee, so they’re cut a touch roomier than the tees. Order your usual size for a comfortable everyday fit. Size up if you plan to layer over a flannel or long sleeve, or if you prefer a longer body.
Most of our hats are one-size with an adjustable closure that fits a wide range of head sizes. Specific sizing notes appear on the product page when a structured cap or fitted style is offered.
