A few small habits make a big difference in how long your printed tees, hoodies, sweatshirts, hats, drinkware, and stickers stay looking new. The instructions below are written for the apparel and goods we sell — printed graphics on quality blanks, finished with care.
For wash-related issues that show up unexpectedly, see our returns & refunds page. For sizing questions before you order, our size & fit guide has the details.
The short version, in order:
That’s it. Cold + inside-out is the single biggest thing you can do to keep prints looking fresh wash after wash.
Most of the friction in a wash cycle happens between the outside of garments. Turning shirts inside out keeps the print on the inside of the tumble, which means less abrasion, less fading, and fewer cracks over the life of the garment.
Hot water relaxes the fibers and can cause printed inks to fade or crack faster. Cold water is gentler on the print, helps prevent shrinkage in cotton blends, and is also easier on your energy bill.
No. Bleach (and oxygen-bleach color-safe variants) breaks down printed inks and can leave permanent splotches even on dark garments. If you need to spot-treat, use a mild stain remover applied directly to the unprinted area, then wash as normal.
Either is fine. Hang drying is the gentlest and best for long-term print life and shape. If you tumble dry, low heat is essential — high heat is one of the fastest ways to crack a print or shrink a cotton blend.
Avoid ironing if you can — most prints don’t need it. If you must iron, turn the shirt inside out, use a low setting, and never iron directly on the print. A pressing cloth or towel between the iron and the garment is good insurance.
We don’t recommend dry cleaning. The solvents used in many dry cleaning processes can damage prints and certain blends. Stick with the cold wash + low/hang dry routine above.
Spot clean with a soft brush, mild detergent, and cool water. Don’t machine-wash structured hats — agitation can deform the crown and bill. Air dry on a towel, away from direct heat or sun.
Hand-wash drinkware (mugs, tumblers, water bottles) with warm water and dish soap to protect printed wraps and finishes. Dishwashers and microwaves can shorten the life of printed exteriors and any insulation in tumblers.
Our stickers use weather-resistant vinyl that stands up to outdoor sun, rain, and water bottle condensation. For the longest life, apply to a clean, dry, smooth surface and press firmly from the center outward to eliminate air bubbles.
That shouldn’t happen with proper care. If it does, please contact us with photos and your order number — premature print failure within 30 days of delivery is covered by our defective-item policy.
Our team replies within 24 hours. We’re happy to help with orders, sizing, gifts, or anything else.
